I discovered this song a year or so ago. Every time I listened to it, I dreamed about introducing it to you as "my song to you", when we finally committed to life together. I wanted so bad, to make that commitment and giving this song to you would've been the evidence of signing my name to my commitment. I wanted to play it at our wedding and dance to it with you. I wanted to look into your eyes and tell you that you were now safe and sound, with me, and that I would protect you and try to make you forget about all the anger and shit that you'd experienced.
